We offer a network of family-based behavioral health services
and supportive programs for people of all age groups. Our team of
professionals includes a psychiatrist, psychologist, family therapists,
social workers, certified addiction counselors and drug & alcohol
prevention specialists.
Some of our services are available
through self-referral on a fee-for-service basis. Clients may also be
referred to services through case management or by court order.
We’re
located in Mansfield, Pa. at the St. James Complex. Some services are also
offered at satellite sites throughout the county. Both weekday and evening
appointments are available

Professional psychiatric and
psychological testing as well as evaluation and treatment, including
appropriate medication, as needed. Services include psychotherapy,
family therapy, marriage counseling, behavioral modification and group
therapy.

Intensive Case Management: |
|
Services for adults and children who have
been diagnosed as mentally ill, or who are at risk of developing
serious mental illness. The goal of the program is to decrease the
need for institutionalization by helping clients create a network of
supports within the community.

Intensive, family-based mental health
services for children under age 21 who are diagnosed with an emotional
disturbance or mental illness and are under consideration for
placement in an inpatient, psychiatric institution. Participation is
strictly voluntary.
Program participants must be eligible
for Medical Assistance and sign and agree to the proposed treatment
plan, if age 14 or over. Permission of the custodial parent is
necessary for youth under age 14. Services are provided in the home,
the school, in some residential program settings and the community,
and are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, if needed.

The goal of
Wrap-Around is to prevent placement of the youth in a psychiatric
inpatient setting. Referrals are made through
Family Services and
are reviewed and approved by the Agency’s
Service Planning Team.

Mental Health Emergency Services: |
|
Emergency
mental health services are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week
for individuals with acute emotional and/or mental distress. Crisis
intervention staff provide emergency mental health assessments,
suicide risk assessments, a phone hotline service and on-site crisis
counseling. Staff also act as administrative delegate, and can arrange
for voluntary hospitalization or emergency involuntary commitment to
an institution, if needed.

MOVE (Men Overcoming Violence): |
|
A support
group for adult men and their families who are dealing with domestic
violence issues. Services are available through self referral or by
court order.
|
|
A mental health day program available to
adults working on socialization and pre-vocational issues.
Participants attend several days a week.

Family-Based Mental Health Services: |
|
A structured,
therapeutic support service for families with behaviorally challenged
youth. Individual and family group therapy are provided, with a goal
of strengthening the family unit. Services are available by self
referral or through TCHSA's
Family Services.

Student Assistance Program: |
|
A program
which provides local secondary schools with mental health and drug and
alcohol specialists who act as liaisons between schools and Agency
services. These specialists act as advisors to teachers and help
teachers make referrals to drug and alcohol or mental health
specialists.

A structured and supervised recreational
opportunity provided year round to mental health consumers and
developmentally challenged individuals.

Drug & Alcohol Outpatient Clinic: |
|
Professional
assessment and treatment for drug and/or alcohol addiction. Services
are available through self-referral, case management, or as court
ordered.

Drug & Alcohol Prevention Services: |
|
A service
geared toward drug and/or alcohol addiction prevention. These
services are available for all county residents at various sites
throughout the area. |
