The mission of the Tioga County Human Services Agency is to protect and
serve Tioga County's citizens by effectively managing the county's human
services programs and resources to improve the quality of their lives.

did we create a vibrant, flexible system of human services from an
inefficient, obsolete model? In a nutshell, we:
consolidated
administration;
integrated
four separate human service programs; and
fused the
parts to create one unified agency offering holistic services. Now,
instead of focusing on response to crisis, we focus on prevention.
Instead of focusing on funding sources, we focus on people.
