staffweb3.jpg (10944 bytes) Our Staff Development office coordinates and monitors training throughout the Agency and develops grant proposals for Agency programs. Consolidating these duties allows us to provide enhanced educational opportunities for our employees. State-mandated training in all categories as well as other workshops and seminars are available to all staff.
A system approach allows us to offer additional benefits for all staff members, including tuition assistance. Forty-two staff members have received their master's degree through the program since 1985.

The office also facilitates job transfers within the Agency, which helps us maintain our pool of experienced, satisfied employees. Categorical specialists who work in TCHSA’s Residential , Clinical or Community Services departments may elect to transfer to Family Services’ generic case management, dependent on job openings. Likewise, cross-trained casemanagers who prefer to work in a specialty area can move to the provider section of the Agency.
